Maxus eTerron 9 Comfort Variant Launched in Nepal at Rs. 88 Lakh

Himalaya Motrox has expanded the Maxus eTerron 9 lineup in Nepal with the introduction of the eTerron 9 Comfort, a more affordable version of its flagship all-electric pickup truck.

The new variant aims to bring the premium electric pickup within reach of more customers while retaining the performance and capability that have made the eTerron 9 one of the most advanced electric pickups in the market.

The Maxus eTerron 9 Comfort has been launched at an introductory price of Rs. 88 lakh, which is applicable to the first 50 customers.

Alongside the new variant, the fully equipped eTeroon 9 Premium remains available in Nepal at Rs. 1.28 crore, giving buyers the option to choose between a value-oriented model and a feature-rich flagship.

Powering the eTerron 9 Comfort is a 102.2 kWh battery pack paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that delivers 700 Nm of torque. The electric pickup is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, while offering a claimed driving range of up to 560 km (NEDC) on a single charge.

The pickup also supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be replenished from 20 to 80 percent in approximately 42 minutes, making it practical for both daily use and long-distance travel.

Built to handle demanding terrain, the eTerron 9 Comfort offers 250 mm of ground clearance, an Intelligent All-Terrain System (ATS), and a water-wading depth of 545 mm. It also boasts a payload capacity of 1,050 kg and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg, making it suitable for both commercial applications and outdoor adventures.

Inside, the cabin features dual 12.3-inch digital displays with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, delivering a modern infotainment experience. On the safety front, the eTerron 9 has earned a 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating, underlining its strong crash protection credentials.

Himalaya Motrox is also offering an 8-year or 200,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery, providing long-term confidence for prospective owners.

With the arrival of the Comfort variant, Maxus has strengthened its position in Nepal's premium electric vehicle segment by introducing a more accessible entry point into its electric pickup range.

Buyers looking for an all-electric pickup now have the choice between the competitively priced eTerron 9 Comfort at Rs. 88 lakh and the eTerron 9 Premium at Rs. 1.28 crore, depending on their budget and feature requirements.

The new variant is expected to appeal to customers seeking a capable, technology-packed electric pickup without stepping into the crore-plus price bracket.
